I have downloaded a FLV video from IDM. The format of the video has saved as file type by mistake. After fully downloading the video is not working in KMP. So please explain me how to change the format of the video from file type to MP4 format.
Hi all, I am running windows 7 home premium, I am having a problem when playing some.TS files through windows media player that have ac3 audio, there is no sound, just the video that plays, but other.TS files play perfect (ones that don't have ac3 audio.
- i personally recomend...that u should use some other player like VLC......coz VLC play almost all format video......
- Did it change file type or file format? You could try to rename the file, only adding .flv at the end to see if it plays. If it changed the format (doubt it if KMP can't play it), then converting the file to the format you wish would need to be done. First try adding .flv to the end of the file name.
- Probably you are talking about a wrong file extension of the video. Right click the video file's icon and select rename and then add .flv at the end of name and remove the incorrect extension. Otherwise, try what others have suggested .
- FLV player
http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/flv_player.htmlif there is no other format than flv then this is what you will get, above in the link is the FLV player mention by IDM - As far as I know KMP should be able to playback FLV files so instead of 'wasting time' converting the video to mp4 I would first try playing it in another media player like VLC or Media Player Classic to make sure the file is not corrupt or anything.As for converting it to mp4 there is a multitude of programs that can do it, here are just two examples:
//www.makeuseof.com/tag/freemake-easy-video-converter-windows/
//www.makeuseof.com/tag/format-factory-quickly-easily-convert-multimedia-files-headache-windows/Another option would be ashampoo SuperEasy Video Converter 2 which is offered in the Rewards section.
I manage to get some m3u8 links of streaming videos by using IDM. On the m3u8 files there's a list of usually more than 200 .TS files. So now I have to download all the .ts files separetely and use ffmpeg and do that process to unite all of them and convert it to mp4.
On the .TS links there's always something like this:
/i/secure/*****/*****_,******.mp4,******.mp4,.cmil/segment1_1_av.ts?null=' (+ a bunch of numbers and letters that are the same for every link on the list)
Is there a way I can find out the original mp4 link to download as one single MP4 file without going through all this long and annoying process? If I 'cut' the link where it finishes on .mp4 part it wont work.
Something I also notice is that the links expires after some time. Like the session is expired or something so I have do download the links as soon as I download the m3u8 file.
